    1. I KNOW. I really wished I liked it! I watched it for my film class and my expectations were way high because everyone was like ‘It’s the BEST AUSTRALIAN FILM ever!’ And…when there’s expectations, there’s disappointment. I just…couldn’t. It was majorly disappointing for me.

      1. Heh.. Don’t sweat it. I was honestly surprised is all. I just think every aspect of Mad Max II is perfectly done (I don’t want to clutter your blog with my inane comments though). Never expect too much from a movie. I learned a long time ago: hope for the best, expect the worst. I remember watching The Sixth Sense awhile after it came out and thinking it was an overrated shitfest, but everyone else thought it was the greatest thing ever. But I think if you look past your own personal like/dislike of it, you can see a lot of merits in it. Like I hate WALL-E, but I can give it some credit here and there.
